Department of Transportation shall study the use of vehicles equipped with automated driving systems on North Dakota highways and data gathered by those vehicles

Study must review current state laws regarding licensing, registration, insurance, data ownership and use, and vehicle inspection as they apply to automated vehicles

Department shall collaborate and consult with the autonomous vehicle technology industry during the study

Department shall report findings, recommendations, and any necessary legislation to the sixty-sixth legislative assembly
