Amends North Dakota Century Code section 52-04-07, subsection 2 to add a new provision protecting employers from unemployment insurance benefit charges.

Employers are not charged for benefits paid to individuals separated from employment due to court-imposed probation or parole restrictions that limit job performance and were not disclosed by the individual when requested at time of hire.

Requires that the court-imposed restrictions must have directly caused the separation from employment and must have been undisclosed upon employer request during the hiring process.

Maintains existing protections allowing employers to avoid benefit charges for voluntary departures, misconduct discharges, domestic violence separations, disaster-related unemployment, and other specified circumstances.
