ND HB1300

Amends subsection 2 of section 28-32-01 of the North Dakota Century Code to modify the definition of administrative agency and clarifies which state agencies are exempt from administrative agency requirements.

Adds the parks and recreation department to the list of agencies exempt from the definition of administrative agency.

Removes the board of university and school lands from the exempt list, except for activities under chapter 47-30.1, which are still exempt.

Reorganizes and renumbers existing exemptions for agencies including the office of management and budget, industrial commission, department of corrections and rehabilitation, attorney general, and various other boards and commissions.

Passed with strong bipartisan support: House vote 88-2 with 4 absent; Senate vote 43-3 with 1 absent.
