Amends section 10-15-49 to transfer assets from liquidated cooperatives to the administrator of unclaimed property (replacing reference to "commissioner of university and school lands") to be treated as abandoned and unclaimed property.

Creates a new duty for the state treasurer under section 54-11-01 to employ an administrator of abandoned property and necessary personnel to administer chapter 47-30.1, with salaries set within legislative appropriations limits.

Requires all public officers to assist the administrator of abandoned property in carrying out administration of chapter 47-30.1.

Repeals section 15-02-05.2 of the North Dakota Century Code relating to the administrator of abandoned property.
