Directs legislative management to conduct a study of refugee resettlement in North Dakota during the 2017-18 interim period.

Study must examine impacts on local workforce wages and working conditions, law enforcement, government services, housing, medical care, child care, translation services, and public education including English language training.

Study must analyze federal and state refugee resettlement laws, security measures, integration outcomes, and conditions in refugees' countries of origin including violence and oppression against women and children.

Study must compile demographic data on refugees including numbers by age group (under 18, 40-65, over 65), gender, English language learner enrollment, initial resettlement locations, and family reunification status.

Study must solicit input from resettlement agencies, law enforcement, service providers, educators, medical providers, county social services, municipalities, and the Department of Human Services, with findings and recommendations reported to the sixty-sixth legislative assembly.
