Appropriates $150,000 from the strategic investment and improvements fund to the attorney general for the biennium beginning July 1, 2017, and ending June 30, 2019.

Funds support grants through the domestic violence and rape crisis program for community-based or hospital-based sexual assault examiner programs.

Grant recipients must report to the attorney general and appropriations committees on fund use and program outcomes.

Attorney general must report to the sixty-sixth legislative assembly on the number of nurses trained, their locations, and documentation of collaborative efforts involving nurses, hospitals or clinics, law enforcement, states attorneys, and sexual assault advocates.

Grant funds cannot be used for nurse salaries.
