Reduces extraterritorial zoning distances for cities with populations fewer than 5,000 from one-half mile to one-quarter mile for extending zoning regulations to unincorporated territory.

Reduces extraterritorial zoning distances for cities with populations between 5,000 and 25,000 from two miles to one mile.

Reduces extraterritorial zoning distances for cities with populations of 25,000 or more from four miles to two miles.

Adjusts joint zoning and subdivision regulation jurisdiction zones proportionally to reflect the reduced extraterritorial distances for all three city population categories.
