Creates section 26.1-39-27 establishing three specific insurance types that may deviate from the standard 12:01 a.m. to 12:01 a.m. coverage period: travel insurance, event cancellation coverage insurance, and unmanned aircraft liability insurance.

Defines "event cancellation coverage" as insurance covering the cancellation of an organized event (public or private) occurring on a specified date and time.

Defines "unmanned aircraft" as an aircraft operated without the possibility of direct human intervention from within or on the aircraft.

Requires any insurance policy with non-standard coverage periods to comply with sections 26.1-30-19, 26.1-30-20, and 26.1-30-21 of the North Dakota Century Code.

Authorizes the insurance commissioner to adopt rules for implementation and administration of these provisions and declares the measure an emergency.
