Permits the use of leashed dogs under handler control for recovery of big game animals, in addition to the existing allowances for horses and mules.

Requires the dog handler and the hunter responsible for taking the animal to remain together at all times during recovery operations.

Prohibits individuals involved in recovery from carrying firearms or archery equipment during the recovery process.

Mandates that the dog handler notify the district game warden before recovery begins and provide contact information for all parties involved and the location where the animal was tracked.

Requires the dog and handler to leave the immediate area if a big game animal is found alive during recovery.
