Adds transfer on death deeds and revocation instruments as an exemption to the requirement for filing statements of full consideration with the county recorder under section 11-18-02.2.

Exempts transfer on death deeds and revocation instruments from requiring an auditor's certificate of transfer or statement of full consideration for recording purposes.

Requires transfer on death deeds to contain essential elements and formalities of a properly recordable inter vivos deed except as otherwise provided in subsection 2.

Requires transfer on death deeds to state that the transfer to the designated beneficiary occurs at the transferor's death and to use the phrase "transfer on death deed" or abbreviation "TOD" in the deed title.

Requires transfer on death deeds to be recorded before the transferor's death in the county recorder's office where the property is located.
