Increases state board of chiropractic examiners from five to seven members appointed by the governor.

Board composition: five doctors of chiropractic, one certified chiropractic clinical assistant, and one consumer member.

Certified chiropractic clinical assistants and consumer members are prohibited from participating in clinical examination activities for licensure applicants.

Staggered appointment schedule: every fifth year the governor appoints one doctor of chiropractic and one certified chiropractic clinical assistant; two years later appoints one doctor of chiropractic and one consumer member.

Applies to all appointments made after July 31, 2019.
