Amends North Dakota Century Code section 47-05-02.1 to establish requirements for real property easements, servitudes, and nonappurtenant restrictions that become binding after July 1, 1977.

Requires easements and similar interests to have specific duration limits not exceeding ninety-nine years, with shorter limits for waterfowl production areas (fifty years) and wetlands reserve program easements (thirty years).

Prohibits increases in the area of real property subject to an easement except through negotiation between the easement owner and the property owner.

Establishes that pipeline easements are considered abandoned if the pipeline is not built within twenty years of the easement's acquisition date, with abandoned easements extinguished and title reverting to the property owner.
