Amends professional land surveyor registration requirements in North Dakota Century Code section 43-19.1-16 to require passage of a board-approved examination on state laws, rules, and surveying issues specific to North Dakota.

Creates new section 43-19.1-16.2 establishing four pathways for land surveyor intern certification: baccalaureate degree in land surveying; baccalaureate in another board-approved program with land surveying training and two years experience; associate degree in land surveying with two years experience; or land surveying certificate with four years experience.

Establishes transition period allowing applicants to meet either old requirements (section 43-19.1-16.1) or new requirements (section 43-19.1-16.2) until June 30, 2028, after which all applicants must meet new requirements.

Repeals old section 43-19.1-16.1 effective July 1, 2028.
