Electric vehicle charging spaces designated by public or private entities must display signs approved by the director that conform to uniform traffic control device standards and indicate the space is for charging electric vehicles only.

Unauthorized use of an electric vehicle charging space is a nonmoving violation subject to a fifty dollar fee.

Individuals may not park or leave a vehicle in a designated electric vehicle charging space unless the vehicle is connected for electric charging purposes.

Individuals may not obstruct, block, or otherwise bar access to spaces designated for charging electric vehicles.

Violations of these provisions result in a fifty dollar penalty.
