Prohibits group life insurance policies issued in North Dakota from including waiting period provisions on coverage for newborn children of certificate holders unless the waiting period's existence and length are prominently disclosed in the certificate, rider, or by the group policyholder at enrollment.

Applies to all life insurance policies issued in the state after July 31, 2019.

Requires the insurance commissioner to mandate that insurers with existing policies containing waiting periods notify certificate holders or group policyholders, who must then notify certificate holders of the waiting period's existence.
