Recognizes and congratulates the North Dakota Mill and Elevator Association on its 100th anniversary, established February 25, 1919 through Senate Bill No. 20.

The State Mill and Elevator began operations in 1919 with a small flour mill in Drake and officially opened in Grand Forks on October 30, 1922, growing into the largest flour mill in the United States and the only state-owned mill and elevator in the nation.

The facility currently grinds 33 million bushels of spring wheat and durum annually, stores up to 5 million bushels of grain, ships "Dakota Maid" products nationwide, and exports flour throughout the Caribbean Islands and Pacific Rim.

In fiscal year 2018, the State Mill and Elevator generated a direct economic impact of $255 million and a secondary economic impact of $592 million to the region, while maintaining profitability and contributing surplus funds to North Dakota's general fund for over 80 years.

Directs the Secretary of State to forward copies of the resolution to the North Dakota Industrial Commission, State Mill manager, union leadership, and North Dakota Congressional Delegation.
