Legislative management shall study the feasibility and desirability of developing standard procedures and uniform account classifications for all North Dakota counties during the 2019-20 interim.

Study shall focus on creating a uniform financial information accumulation system applicable to counties regardless of size or current budgeting and accounting approaches.

Objective of the study is to achieve uniformity in financial information to guide preparation of county financial reports required by law.

Legislative management shall report findings, recommendations, and any required legislation to the sixty-seventh legislative assembly.
