Legislative management shall conduct a study during the 2019-20 interim on state agency fee provisions in the North Dakota Century Code, in coordination with the state auditor.

Study must review the dates state agency fee provisions were created and modified, revenue generated by each fee compared to related expenditures, and the funds in which fee revenue is deposited and expended.

Study shall consider whether fee amounts should be changed and whether imposing fees is appropriate or if other government revenues should fund the provision of services.

Legislative management shall report findings, recommendations, and any required implementing legislation to the 67th Legislative Assembly.
