Amends subsection 1 of section 10-06.1-01 of the North Dakota Century Code to clarify the definition of "farming or ranching"

Defines farming or ranching as cultivating land for agricultural crops or livestock, raising livestock or poultry, producing milk or dairy products, or growing fruit or horticultural products

Excludes timber and forest product production from the definition of farming or ranching

Excludes the growing or processing of marijuana under chapter 19-24.1 from the definition of farming or ranching

Excludes contracts where a processor or distributor provides grain, harvesting, or other farm services from the definition of farming or ranching
