Legislative management shall study the regulation of sewage treatment system installation, maintenance, testing, and repair during the 2019-20 interim.

Study must examine uniform rules, uniform occupational licensing requirements, and testing and education requirements for workers in sewage treatment system occupations.

Study must identify the regulatory agency best suited to regulate sewage treatment systems and explore options for maintaining local government control.

Legislative management shall report findings, recommendations, and any required implementing legislation to the 67th legislative assembly.
