Direct the Legislative Management to study implementation of recommendations from the Human Services Research Institute's 2017-18 comprehensive study of North Dakota's behavioral health system.

The study identified 13 categories and 65 specific recommendations aimed at enhancing comprehensiveness, integration, and cost-effectiveness of the state's behavioral health system.

Legislative Management must receive regular updates on major recommendation areas, identify availability and access of behavioral health services, and seek input from stakeholders including law enforcement, social/clinical providers, medical providers, mental health advocates, emergency services, juvenile court personnel, educators, tribal governments, and state/local agencies.

Legislative Management shall consider options for improving access and availability of behavioral health care services.

Report findings and recommendations, including any required legislation, to the Sixty-seventh Legislative Assembly.
