Appropriates $26,841,302 in total funds to the state historical society for the 2021-23 biennium, including $19,411,350 from the general fund and 78.75 full-time equivalent positions.

Allocates $4,200,000 in one-time federal coronavirus capital projects fund money for capital project planning and historic site and extraordinary repairs.

Establishes that the state historical society shall display, maintain, and protect Lewis and Clark artifacts transferred from the parks and recreation department, with required climate-controlled environment.

Includes $100,000 grant funding from the department of transportation for the Lewis and Clark interpretive center.

Directs legislative management to study the feasibility and desirability of creating local advisory boards to the state historical society during the 2021-22 interim, with findings and recommendations to be reported to the 68th legislative assembly.
