Extends the deadline for filing a written request for reconsideration of Workforce Safety and Insurance decisions from 30 days to 45 days in sections 65-01-16 and 65-04-32.

Extends the deadline for filing a written request for rehearing from 30 days to 45 days in both sections.

Applies to all workers' compensation claims regardless of injury date, but only for notices of decision issued after July 31, 2021.

Maintains existing procedures for informal internal review, administrative orders, and appeals to district court under chapter 65-10.

Passed with broad bipartisan support: House vote 89-0 and Senate vote 46-0.
