Changes statutory language to clarify that historical objects or artifacts acquired by a county historical society "may revert" (rather than "shall revert") to the state historical society if the local society ceases to function, exist, or no longer operate.

Reversion to the state historical society does not apply if the donor attached other conditions to the gift or artifact.

Allows a county historical society that terminates operations or no longer needs a historical object or artifact to give or trade such items to any other county historical society.
