Amends North Dakota Century Code section 24-02-02.3 to authorize the Department of Transportation Director to enter agreements with tribal governments for federally funded safety improvement projects on tribal owned highways, streets, roads, and bridges.

Expands existing authority that previously limited agreements to construction and maintenance of highways, streets, roads, and bridges on the state highway system.

Maintains exemption from chapter 54-40.2 provisions when entering such agreements with tribal governments.
