County commissioners may conduct elections by mail ballot, which must include city elections administered by the county auditor and may include other elections administered by the county auditor.

Board of county commissioners shall designate one or more polling places in the county to be open on election day for voting in the usual manner.

The requirement for one or more polling places to be open on election day for voting in the usual manner may not be suspended or modified except by legislative enactment.

County auditor must place a notice at all polling places used at the last statewide election stating the location of polling places open for the election.

County auditor must keep a record of each mail ballot provided to qualified electors and provide the election board at each polling place with a list of every person who applied for a mail ballot.
