• Amends North Dakota Century Code section 5-02-06 to permit individuals under 21 years of age to enter and remain in restaurants where alcoholic beverages are sold if accompanied by a parent or guardian, not seated within 3 feet of the bar counter, and do not remain in the designated alcohol preparation area after 10 p.m.

• Allows individuals under 21 to remain in restaurants where alcoholic beverages are sold if the restaurant is separated from the area where beverages are opened or mixed and food sales equal or exceed alcoholic beverage sales in the dining area.

• Permits individuals under 21 to work as food waiters, food waitresses, busboys, or busgirls under direct supervision of someone 21 years of age or older, provided they do not engage in the sale, dispensing, delivery, or consumption of alcoholic beverages.
