State board of higher education administers a dual-credit tuition scholarship program providing scholarships to eligible students at in-state public, private, or tribal institutions of higher education.

Eligible students must be enrolled in a higher education institution for at least one semester, have graduated from a North Dakota high school (or bordering state under specified conditions), and have completed at least one dual-credit course while in high school or home education program.

Scholarship amount equals 50 percent of dual-credit course costs, up to a maximum of $750 per student, with no single semester/quarter/term exceeding actual tuition and fees charged.

$1,500,000 appropriated from Bank of North Dakota profits for the biennium beginning July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2023.

Legislative management directed to study all scholarship programs during 2021-22 interim and report findings and recommendations to the sixty-eighth legislative assembly.
