Allows firefighters and ambulance personnel to carry concealed firearms while on duty if they have written permission from their department/service, a valid class 1 concealed weapons license, and complete weapons training developed by the North Dakota private investigative and security board

Requires fire departments and ambulance services to provide written notice to the bureau of criminal investigation listing individuals authorized to carry firearms and confirming all training requirements are met

Mandates that schools select individuals for armed first responder programs must complete training equivalent to the South Dakota school sentinel program as of August 1, 2019, or complete a course established by the private investigative and security board

Authorizes the private investigative and security board to establish standards, license and certify course instructors, audit courses, and set administrative fees for the armed first responder program
