Legislative management shall study the behavioral health needs of incarcerated adults during the 2021-22 interim period.

Study must examine access, availability, and delivery of behavioral health services to incarcerated adults.

Study must include input from law enforcement, social and clinical service providers, educators, medical providers, mental health advocacy organizations, emergency medical service providers, tribal government, state and local agencies, and family members.

Legislative management shall report findings, recommendations, and any required implementing legislation to the sixty-eighth legislative assembly.
