Increases member contributions to the highway patrolmen's retirement system by 0.5% of monthly salary beginning January 2022, with additional 0.5% increases in January 2023, 2024, and 2025.

Increases state contributions to the fund by 0.5% of participating members' monthly salary beginning January 2022, with additional 0.5% increases in January 2023, 2024, and 2025.

Maintains existing contribution increases of 1% per year for both members and the state that began in January 2012 and continued through January 2014.

Requires the state to pay the associated employer contribution for members who elect to exercise rights under section 39-03.1-10.1.
