Amends North Dakota Century Code section 23.1-16-10 to increase the boiler inspection certificate fee from twenty dollars to thirty-five dollars per year.

Fee applies to each certificate of inspection issued for boilers inspected under sections 23.1-16-07 and 23.1-16-08, charged per year or part of a year that a certificate is valid.

Fees are the responsibility of the boiler owner or user and must be paid according to department rules before a certificate can be issued.

Certificate validity periods remain unchanged: 36 months maximum for specified power boilers, 12 months for other power boilers and steam traction engines, and 36 months for low-pressure boilers, with a possible two-month grace period.

Chief boiler inspector may issue short-term certificates upon written request from a special inspector, and all certificates must be posted conspicuously under glass in the boiler room or adjacent to the boiler.
