Amends section 54-17.4-09.1 of the North Dakota Century Code to expand the uses of the fossil excavation and restoration fund.

Funds received by the geological survey for participation in public fossil digs, fossil excavation, fossil restoration, and fossil exhibit development must be deposited into the fund.

All moneys in the fund are continuously appropriated to the geological survey for public fossil dig expenses, fossil excavation, fossil restoration, and fossil exhibit development.

Exempts appropriations from this fund from the provisions of section 54-27-10 of the Century Code.

Passed the Senate 45-0 with 2 absent and the House 92-0 with 1 absent during the 2021 regular session.
