Authorizes physical therapists to order musculoskeletal imaging consisting of plain film radiographs if they hold a clinical doctorate degree in physical therapy or have completed a board-approved formal medical imaging training program.

Expands the definition of "practice of physical therapy" to explicitly include ordering musculoskeletal imaging to be performed by professionals authorized under chapter 43-62 and interpreted by a licensed physician trained in radiology.

Allows physical therapists to use imaging results to determine if referral to another health care provider is necessary or if treatment falls within the physical therapist's scope of practice.

Passed the North Dakota Senate with 46 yes votes and 1 no vote, and the House with 90 yes votes and 2 no votes.
