Amends North Dakota Century Code section 43-30-03 to modify the composition and appointment process of the private investigative and security board.

Requires the governor to consider geographic representation from western, central, and eastern regions of the state when making board appointments.

Maintains board size between 5 and 11 members with staggered four-year terms, with a majority actively engaged in private investigative or security profession and at least one member from law enforcement.

Board members receive no compensation but are entitled to reimbursement for expenses incurred in performing official duties at rates provided by law for state employees.

Applies to all board appointments made on and after the effective date of the Act.
