• Transfers administration of the international business and trade office from the department of commerce to the agriculture commissioner
• Office purpose is to assist North Dakota businesses expand exports by advocating for exporters, offering educational opportunities, researching export opportunities, assisting in market development, and organizing trade missions
• Commissioner may designate a nonprofit corporation or contract with a third party to provide office services, with all data and databases remaining property of the department
• Commissioner may establish an advisory board with members receiving per diem compensation not to exceed $62.50 and expense reimbursement, except for state employees
