Grants civil liability immunity to school districts, school boards, administrators, teachers, and other school personnel for COVID-19 contraction, exposure, or potential exposure occurring on school premises, in school vehicles, or at school-sponsored activities.

Immunity covers the superintendent of public instruction, individual board members, governing boards, principals, and all school district employed personnel.

Exempts from immunity any damage, loss, or injury caused by an individual's gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Applies retroactively to claims by students, parents, or any other individual who knew or reasonably should have known about COVID-19 contraction, exposure, or potential exposure before the law's effective date.

Declared an emergency measure; passed with Senate vote of 44-3 and House vote of 75-15.
