Legislative management shall conduct a study during the 2021-22 interim of occupational boards addressing mental health and behavioral health issues, including the state board of psychologist examiners, board of addiction counseling examiners, board of counselor examiners, education standards and practices board, North Dakota board of social work examiners, and North Dakota marriage and family therapy licensure board.

Study must review rules adopted by the boards and the frequency with which rules are reviewed.

Study must examine barriers to practice, barriers to admission of foreign practitioners, and adequacy of training for board members and executive directors.

Legislative management shall report findings, recommendations, and any required legislation to the sixty-eighth legislative assembly.
