Authorizes the Budget Section of the Legislative Management to hold public hearings on state plans for receiving and spending new or revised federal block grants passed by Congress.

Approves the Department of Commerce appropriation bill for community services block grant program money through September 30, 2023.

Grants the Budget Section authority to conduct required public hearings on additional block grants or federal moneys under the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1981 or other federal statutes approved after the legislature adjourns.

Authority is effective from the recess or adjournment of the Sixty-seventh Legislative Assembly through September 30, 2023, since the legislature will not meet in regular session during 2022.

Budget Section may provide public notice and hold hearings using methods and procedures it deems appropriate.
