Rescind all existing applications by the North Dakota Legislative Assembly to Congress requesting an Article V constitutional convention, whether for specific amendments or a general unlimited convention.

Urge all other state legislatures that have applied to Congress to call a constitutional convention to rescind their applications.

Direct the North Dakota Secretary of State to send copies of this resolution to the President and Secretary of the U.S. Senate, the Speaker and Clerk of the U.S. House, the House Judiciary Committee Chairman, North Dakota's Congressional delegation, and presiding officers of all state legislatures.

Assert that Article V conventions pose an "imminent peril" to citizens' rights by potentially allowing sweeping constitutional changes beyond state-imposed limitations.

Argue that the existing Constitution has adequately served for over 200 years and can be amended through traditional means without resorting to a constitutional convention.
