Amends the definition of "cannabinoid edible product" to specify a maximum tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) concentration of 5 milligrams per serving in the medical marijuana statute.

Creates new section establishing that cannabinoid edible products must be square-shaped and cannot contain color additives.

Requires the Department of Health and Human Services to adopt rules determining which images, wording, and ingredients are allowed or prohibited in cannabinoid edible products.

Requires the Department to adopt sanitation rules establishing standards and requirements for storage, display, and dispensing of cannabinoid edible products.

Clarifies that "usable marijuana" does not include cannabinoid edible products for purposes of possession and purchase limits under North Dakota's medical marijuana program.
