Amends North Dakota's Good Samaritan Act to clarify definitions including "apparently wholesome food," "apparently fit grocery product," "employed expressly or actually," and "gross negligence."

Expands liability protections to individuals and employers who render emergency aid or offer apparently wholesome food or grocery products, limiting liability except for intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

Defines gross negligence to include failure of an aider to relinquish care direction when a licensed medical professional assumes or attempts to assume responsibility.

Provides immunity for restaurants, grocery stores, and individuals offering apparently wholesome food and apparently fit grocery products free of charge unless intentional misconduct or gross negligence is proven.

Passed with overwhelming bipartisan support: House vote 93-0 (1 absent), Senate vote 47-0.
