Directs the North Dakota legislative management to conduct a study during the 2023-24 interim on statutory provisions restricting firearm and dangerous weapons carrying locations and methods

Study must examine state's current firearm and weapon possession prohibitions compared to national historical regulations on time, place, and manner restrictions

Requires assessment of recent federal court cases relating to firearm restrictions including public carry and evaluation of the dangerous weapon definition to determine if it should be maintained, narrowed, or expanded

Mandates input from the attorney general, superintendent of public instruction, university system representative, supreme court representatives, and representatives from the association of counties, league of cities, state's attorney association, commission on legal counsel for indigents, peace officers association, and firearm legislation interest organizations

Legislative management shall report findings, recommendations, and any necessary implementing legislation to the sixty-ninth legislative assembly
