• Appropriates $8 million from the opioid settlement fund to the Department of Health and Human Services for opioid remediation and abatement for the biennium beginning July 1, 2023, with at least 20 percent directed to prevention and overdose prevention efforts.

• Transfers all opioid settlement proceeds received by the state and political subdivisions from March 1, 2021 through June 30, 2025 to the opioid settlement fund, with political subdivisions able to retain and transfer moneys to local public health units for community-based programs.
