Designates employee positions for the Sixty-eighth Legislative Assembly (commencing January 3, 2023) with daily wage rates ranging from $124 to $217 for House and Senate staff.

Chief clerk and Secretary of the Senate receive the highest daily wage at $217, while legislative assistant-page positions receive the lowest at $124 per day.

Employees receive an additional $1 per day for each previous regular legislative session where they were paid for at least 45 days, with a maximum bonus of $10 per day.

Each majority and minority leader may hire one administrative assistant and up to two staff assistants, with flexibility to hire fewer positions as long as total daily compensation does not exceed the authorized amount.

Allows positions to be converted to part-time with hourly rates subject to Employment Committee approval, and grants pay for recess days and required committee hearings; compensation ceases upon employee resignation or termination.
