Urges the Insurance Commissioner to add restricted cost-sharing for diabetes medications and supplies, capping insulin at $25 for a 30-day supply and insulin administration supplies at $25 regardless of quantity or type.

Directs addition of coverage for one hearing aid per hearing-impaired ear every 36 months, or more frequently if there is a significant change in hearing status as determined by a licensed physician or audiologist.

Requires coverage for up to 12 sessions per policy year of dietary or nutritional screening, counseling, and therapy for obesity, diabetes-related conditions, or chronic illnesses manageable through nutritional or weight loss programs if prescribed by a physician.

Mandates coverage for diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease in acute or chronic disease state when recommended by a board-certified medical practitioner based on health-related impacts.

Adds coverage for positron emission tomography scans for prostate cancer patients, including at least two different types upon initial diagnosis and one scan every 6 months for the life of the insured.

Includes steps to address the opioid epidemic by limiting first opioid prescription fills to 7 days, removing barriers for opioid use disorder treatments, and requiring coverage for overdose antidotes when prescribing high-dose opioids.
