Urges the federal government to recognize natural gas and nuclear energy as environmentally sustainable economic activities.

Notes that 50 percent of U.S. homes use natural gas for heating and 39 percent of U.S. electricity is generated by natural gas.

States that as of July 1, 2022, 92 nuclear reactors operate at 54 nuclear power plants in 28 states, supplying approximately 20 percent of total annual electricity.

Cites that closing existing nuclear facilities would result in loss of approximately 25 percent of existing nuclear capacity and could result in an additional four billion tons of carbon dioxide emissions.

Directs the Secretary of State to forward copies of the resolution to the President of the United States and each member of the North Dakota Congressional Delegation.
