Creates new statute 29-29.1-01.1 establishing procedures for warrants requiring disclosure of electronic communication information, including contents and precise or approximate location of senders or recipients.

Authorizes seizure of electronic storage media or copying of electronically stored information under warrant, with later offsite review permitted unless otherwise specified.

Allows magistrates to extend warrants for up to 30 days if electronic communication information has not been produced within 10 days.

Extends warrant validity period from 24 hours to 10 days following issuance for searches and inspections under chapter 29-29.1.

Specifies that warrant execution time refers only to seizure or onsite copying, not to later offsite copying or review of materials.
