Appropriates $2,000,000 from the general fund to the Department of Health and Human Services for grants to federally qualified health centers for the biennium July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2025.

Grant amounts to each federally qualified health center must be proportional to the patient discounts granted by that center compared to total discounts granted by all centers in the state, based on the most recent calendar year federal uniform data system report.

Limits any single federally qualified health center from receiving more than 50 percent of the total grants awarded.

Directs legislative management to study expanding federally qualified health centers during the 2023-24 interim, including consideration of increasing the number of centers and improving collaboration with local public health units.

Requires legislative management to report findings, recommendations, and any required implementing legislation to the sixty-ninth legislative assembly.
