The State Auditor shall conduct an audit following certification of results for each primary and general election to review election accuracy.

State Auditor shall randomly select one county from the seven largest counties (Burleigh, Cass, Grand Forks, Morton, Stark, Ward, and Williams) and one from the remaining counties.

For the two selected counties, the State Auditor shall conduct a full manual recount of all ballots cast and review all municipal, county, statewide, and national races.

Audits shall commence immediately after the state canvassing board issues its statement and results must be made public within 90 days of commencement.

State Auditor shall adopt rules necessary to administer these audit duties.
